Miller Lite Beercoal sold out in less than a day when it debuted in the summer of 2023
And now happily, it has returned!
Here’s the deal…
Like beer and music, grilling with a cold beer on hand is a celebration of life for many of us, especially as the weather warms up.
Yep, Beercoal is back and this time Miller Lite has partnered with Kingsford to make the only charcoal infused with our quality beer ingredients for the great Miller Lite flavor and this on-of-a-kind beer-infused charcoal is available this summer for the first time in stores.
To hone in on flavor and make the great taste of Miller Lite more prominent than before, Beercoal is made using Kingsford Original briquets and coating them with the same barley used in Miller Lite to ensure any backyard, lakeside, or rooftop barbeque tastes just as great as the Miller Lite in your hand.
“Grilling and beer are a classic summertime pairing, and now, with the first-ever beer-infused charcoal, we’ve combined them to really create the taste of summer,” Anne Pando, director of marketing for Miller Lite told Beer & Beyond last summer
“Whether you’re firing up the grill, celebrating with Dad or just hanging out with your favorite people, nothing goes better and we’re excited to show our drinkers all the ways they can do that.
Quick, reliable and flavorful, Beercoal is as easy to use and as dependable as any Kingsford charcoal. Like all Kingsford charcoal, Beercoal is designed with more edges and signature grooves to catch the flame faster, it lights quickly and is grill-ready in about fifteen minutes
“This partnership was born from a shared love of flavor and bringing people together —and it’s back because people couldn’t get enough of it,” said Mitchell O’Furey, head of marketing at Kingsford. “Together, Miller Lite and Kingsford turn everyday grilling into something legendary. It’s about good times, bold taste, and making the most of summer.”
Beercoal’s return comes at a good time for the brewer as Miller Lite continues its growth as the beer of choice for master grillers across the nation.
“More and more drinkers are considering Miller Lite,” Pando added. “We hope that continues, and we think our summer plans will contribute to its growth.”
