Craft Brewers Conference Highlights: Trillium Co-Founders Keynote Adress

Craft beer’s most important industry gathering, the Craft Brewers Conference & BrewExpo America® is ON in Indianapolis, Indiana. And this year’s keynote address is something that the CBC’s 10,000+ attendees don’t want to miss.

One of Boston’s hottest beer companies, Trillium Brewing was founded by JC and Esther Tetreault in 2013.

And what started  as a small brewing operation in South Boston has become a family of operations including: a production facility in  Canton, summer and winter beer gardens, a farm brewery in planning, a modern restaurant/brewery in Boston’s Fort Point neighborhood, Trillium Fenway, an indoor/outdoor taproom near the historic baseball stadium as well a farm location in in North Stonington, CT, not far from where JC and Esther were married.

In their April 29 keynote, “Maybe You’re Not Doing It Wrong: Finding YOUR Path to Success,” Esther and JC will share their journey of innovation, sustainability, growth, and resilience; a path forged upon careful decision making and strategy.

We’re eager to share how our strategy-driven approach has helped us navigate the day-to-day challenges and provide you with actionable items to consider for your brewery,” said the Tetreaults in a joint statement.

 “In the twelve years since Trillium opened until today, our industry has changed dramatically; from the emergence of New England style IPA, through the complexities of COVID-19, to the current explosion of consumer interest in new products and experiences, all of us have experienced both joy and frustration while plying our craft. We look forward to sharing our approach to hospitality, continuous improvement, and innovation that has helped us remain resilient.”

Founded in 2013, New England-based Trillium has grown from a small brewery in Boston’s Fort Point neighborhood to a hospitality icon known for its dedication to quality, innovation, and community-driven values. With a deep commitment to sustainability and locally sourced ingredients, Trillium has expanded to multiple locations while maintaining its artisanal approach to brewing and, more recently, distilling.

Esther, a seasoned entrepreneur, has utilized her strong foundation in business to propel Trillium to its current success, while JC has leveraged his background in biology and biochemistry alongside innovative, rule-breaking techniques to create a wide range of beers and spirits that consistently earn the praise of experts and fans alike.
