Festive foods take on new meaning when made with serious beer. And it doesn’t get much better than these uber-rich brownie bites made with the right craft beer.
This delicious party pleaser, which comes our way from the Beer Institute, a national trade organization that advocates for big and small brewers, was created for them by Chef Laurent Aubel.
Although the recipe calls for any stout, we used Lakewood Temptress Imperial Milk Stout, a delicious 9.1% ABV Milk Stout with a thick creamy head, sweet chocolate, caramel and vanilla notes and a warm complexity that grows deeper with every sip
Lakewood’s Imperial Stout’s dark complexity really informs Chef Laurent Aubel’s party-ready recipe…But if you can’t find Temptress which is the bestselling Milk Stout in Texas, most imperial stouts will do.
And this selection of Pastry Stouts will add an additional flavor dimension that could be fun…
So, let’s do this!
