BrewDog’s ‘US VS UK’ 4th Of July Beer Showdown

4th, BrewDog’s ‘US VS UK’ 4th Of July Beer Showdown

Because Scotland’s punk brewers like to celebrate as much as they enjoy beer, they are bringing the 4th of July across the Atlantic, and pitting two brewing players against one another in a US vs UK showdown of epic proportions!

Here’s the deal…

On Wednesday, July 4th BrewDog’s UK bars will be staging a transatlantic competition between two craft beer heavyweights and inviting their fans to pick the winners. And they’ve selected a series of beers from two exciting yet underrated breweries, both at the top of their games.

4th, BrewDog’s ‘US VS UK’ 4th Of July Beer ShowdownRepresenting the UK will be  Northern Monk and ‘The Pride of Leeds’ have responded to the call by fielding a team of audacious brews, many of them brand new and never before released.

Representing the US, is Grand Haven Michigan’s Odd Side Ales, and BrewDog has air-freighted a container of their beers that have never been seen in the UK just to keep things as fresh as possible for this 4th of July throwdown.

The UK’s Northern Monk looks to break strong in this one-on-one competition, pouring monsters like a 10% Triple IPA, a new 12% Cherry Imperial Stout and a Burgundy Barrel-Aged Imperial Saison.

4th, BrewDog’s ‘US VS UK’ 4th Of July Beer ShowdownAnd coming of a series of successes that include three expansions in seven years, Odd Side Ales, will be bleeding the “Red, White and Blue” with a squadron of athletic players including aggressively-hopped IPAs, barrel-aged mango Belgian Ales and an 11% bourbon barrel-aged chocolate, coffee and hazelnut imperial stout that’s borderline psychotic!

So while the US continues its ongoing series of celebrations commemorating the Nation’s independence from the British Empire, BrewDog will be relaunching its own battle, this time a heroic battle of SERIOUS breweries and beers.

So stay tuned to us for this massive confrontation’s outcome (tough one to call) and be careful this week with all those illegal fireworks you bought on the dark web.
