BrewDog, a global brewing organization that doesn’t want for ambition, has announced plans to take their beer hotel concept to London, one of the world’s most vibrant cities.
Last summer they opened the doors to the world’s first craft beer hotel in Columbus, Ohio.
As unique as it is audacious, DogHouse Columbus stands adjacent to their Ohio brewery and it has been fully booked pretty much ever since it opened last August.
BrewDog pilgrims enjoy draft beer in every room…There are shower-beer fridges and a craft beer museum, all of it overlooking the foeders of the brewery’s first US sour beer facility.
DogHouse Columbus has been described by some fans as “the hoppiest place on Earth and now BrewDog, who helm their now global brewing operations from Ellon Scotland, is looking to bring their beer hotel concept much closer to home.
So the search is on…BrewDog will be opening a beer hotel in the center of the United Kingdom’s largest city….most likely an existing hotel that can be retrofitted to meet the company’s beery needs.
This from BrewDog’s exploratory team….
“Like its Columbus counterpart we will ensure that all rooms in the DogHouse London will have fresh craft beer you can pour for yourself in each room – and our now iconic shower-beer fridges will also feature. Hell, we may even fit a Punk IPA Jacuzzi as well.”
“Nothing is off limits at the moment – once we find a location we will make our London hotel every bit as amazing as the one on the other side of the Atlantic.”
BrewDog’s announcement is a continuation of the company’s growing commitment to London, In addition. In addition to having acquired the enormously successful Draft House craft beer chain, which runs 14 bar’s across London and in England’s southeast.
The company also operates 12 BrewDog Bars in London including last October’s opening of its Canary Wharf location in the city’s bustling financial district, home to the FTSE 100.
