BrewDog Opens New UK Beer Hotel In Manchester

Building upon the success of its first beer hotel in Columbus, Ohio, global craft brewer, BrewDog has opened a new beer hotel in Manchester, England.

BrewDog’s latest launch, DogHouse Manchester, features all the Scotland-headquartered trademark touches including beer fridges in the shower and in-room fresh beer taplines.

And in keeping with BrewDog’s earth-friendly ethos, sustainability is a key focus of its newest venture.

As part of its aim to keep things as carbon negative as possible, a ‘living wall’ made up of 26,000 plants has been installed on the hotel’s exterior facing. DogHouse Manchester provides free bikes for touring and visitors get beer rewards for reusing hotel room towels.

BrewDog’s new beer hotel also offers guests complimentary passes to the local gym are and each room is decked out with a vinyl selection showcasing local artists that celebrates Manchester’s legendary music scene…

There’s also a huge onsite taproom with 30 taps of the freshest craft beer, as well as a new rooftop bar with striking views of downtown Manchester.

“From welcome pints of Punk, to in-shower beer fridges; The DogHouse is our gift to the passionate and dedicated army of beer fans that have supported us every step of the way,” said BrewDog co-founder James Watt. “We are nothing without our community and this hotel celebrates that and where better to do it than in one of the UK’s greatest cities?”

Packages include ‘The Top Dog’ complete with dinner and breakfast for two, Punk IPA on tap, and a beer school experience. There’s also the ‘Brewing Experience’ package which offers guests the chance to spend a full day in the Outpost Manchester brewpub with BrewDog’s head brewer.

A complimentary canine package is also available for guests looking to take their furry companions along with them, complete with a dog bed, water bowl and treats.

“With our DogHouse hotels, we want to inspire a new kind of hospitality experience,” Watt added, “combining our biggest passions, travel and incredible beer, with sustainability at its core.”
