2020 is ON and American craft brewers are addressing the changing seasons with a variety of offerings that are fun and cold weather-ready.
Two New From The Woods (Athens, GA_) – Creature Comforts Brewing Company will release two limited offerings in February from its ambitious Wood Cellar and Mixed Fermentation program . Both beers will be available from the brewery’s tasting room on February 15.
Creature Comforts Good Migrations is a lightly fruited 5.9% ABV Saison that was brewed using estate-grown barley, hops, blueberries, and raspberries from Indian Ladder Farms Cidery & Brewery in Altamont, New York, as well as wheat, local honey from Georgia’s DaySpring Farms.

A Jack Without Trades (Paso Robles, CA) – – Firestone Walker has an exciting release that’s crafted for drinkers who keep an active and healthy lifestyle, but don’t want to sacrifice flavor for fewer calories, Firestone Walker Flyjack is a 4% ABV India Pale Ale with only 96 calories that David Walker calls “The best tasting low calorie Hazy IPA the you will ever have.”
Roasty And Resonant (Abita Springs, LA) – Abita Brewing is returning a favorite limited release that’s crafted using the pristine artesian water of Abita Springs, Louisiana. Brewed with pale, caramel, chocolate and roasted malts that deliver the beer’s intensely dark color and flavor, Abita Macchiato Espresso Milk Stout is a 6% ABV seasonal that combines the rich flavor of roasted coffee and natural milk sugar with a full-bodied stout.
Taking A Powder (Williamsburg, VA) – The Virginia Beer Co. is returning the first limited release that they ever packaged, this time on draft and in large format cans. Virginia Beer Fresh Powder is an 8% ABV 100% Citra Double India Pale Ale brewed with concentrated Citra Lupulin Powder, then double dry-hopped for an even fresher Citra finish on the back end.
