The FIFA World Cup 2026 games are nearing and Miller Lite (which unlike Michelon Ultra is not an “official sponsor” of the tournament) is making moves to get in on the action with a legendary piece of beer swag that you might want to chase down.

Say hello to the Miller Time MVP Matchball, but its not what you think.

At first glance, it’s a sleek, oversized soccer ball sitting on a trophy stand. But give it a closer look (and maybe a gentle tug), and it reveals its true purpose: it’s a reloadable cooler designed to hold a crisp 12-pack of Miller Lite.

And yes, size matters here. The Miller Time MVP Matchball clocks in at roughly one and a half times larger than a regulation soccer ball, making it less sports equipment and more conversation starter. Plus it comes with its own display stand.

The pricing carries a little Miller Lite history as well.

The Matchball will sell for $19.75, a nod to 1975, the year Miller Lite first arrived. It is one of those small details brands love to tuck into products, and for longtime beer fans it doubles as a bit of nostalgia.

But getting one could prove trickier than explaining the soccer rules to someone watching the games for the first time.

Miller Lite plans to release the coolers in limited drops. Unfortunately the first drop has already sold out but there’s a second drop on June 3, but you’ll need to act fast, given the growing popularity of collectible beer merchandise, these kinds of limited runs have a habit of disappearing quickly.

And even if that second online drop sells out, Miller Lite has another route for beer swag fans. As part of its larger “Miller Time is on U.S.” campaign, Molson Coors is asking its fans to spotlight the often overlooked heroes of game day gatherings.

Maybe it is the friend who gets to the sports bar early and grabs the best table. Maybe it is the person who organizes the gathering and coordinates everyone’s arrival times, or patiently explains offsides for the tenth time. Miller Lite wants fans to nominate these unsung 21+ MVPs via its social media channels for a chance to win a Matchball.

And timing also matters.

With 104 total matches taking place across 39 days, organizers expect the tournament to draw an enormous global audience. And Miller Lite clearly wants to place itself at the center of those shared moments. Turning a soccer ball into a beer cooler might not improve your touch on the field, but it will definitely improve your standing at the neighborhood watch party.

“It’s the summer of soccer. And it’s America’s 250th. And, yes, it’s going to be nice out,” Courtney Benedict, VP of Marketing for Miller Lite added. “So, Miller Lite is getting in on the action, bringing its Americana roots to help champion legendary moments – from the pitch to your backyard.”

So if you’re planning on catching the matches this June, you might want to clear some space on your coffee table for this classic piece of beer swag that is one for the ages.
