Shake it up! Up (Baltimore, MD) – Heavy Seas Beer just debuted the sixth release of the year from its 15 Barrel experimental Brewhouse. Crafted with imported English Maris Otter, Chocolate, Black, and Crystal malts and almost 10 lbs. of lactose per barrel, Heavy Seas Scoops Chocolate Vanilla Twist Milkshake IPA is a 5.5% ABV Milkshake-Style India Pale Ale brewed with cocoa nibs and vanilla that round out its creamy flavors.

Golden Goodness II (Hood River, OR) – pFriem Family Brewers has an exciting new release that straddles the line between Belgian brewing traditions and American instincts. Aged for six months in Sauvignon Blanc barrels from Napa Valley before adding fresh nectarines and aging it for another six month, pFriem Nectarine Golden Ale is a 6.4% ABV Belgian Strong Ale with a graceful ambience that’s both fruity and tart.
