White lightening (Escondido, CA) – Just two short years after the history-making opening of Stone Brewing Berlin, the brewery’s beers are now distributed to 25 European countries, making Stone one of the most widely distributed in Germany. And for a limited time Stone Berlin is making one of their European year-round releases available in the states. Crafted using specially selected historic Lactobacillus strain sourced from Berlin’s cultures, Stone White Geist Berliner Weisse is a 4.7% ABV German-style sour that’s as bold as it is traditional.
Meady (Seneca Falls, NY) – One of New York State’s most exciting new farm breweries, Fleur De Lis Brew Works, is celebrating their one year anniversary and American Craft Beer Week with their first ever bottle release on May 19th. Available in 500ml bottles (and only at the brewery’s Finger Lakes location), All in the Family Braggot is an 8.9% ABV mead/beer hybrid that was crafted using massive amounts of local honey.
Hoppy Little Trees Today! (Longmont, CO) – Lone Tree Brewing just tapped the first release from their Hoppy Little Trees Project, a fresh year-round rotating IPA series. Brewed with a dynamic menu of Cascade, Amarillo, Centennial, Willamette and the experimental YCH hop variety…and dry-hopped with Vic Secret, Jarrylo, and YCH again, Hoppy Trees Project – IPA #1 will be available on draft and in growler fills to-go at Lone Tree Brewing during their Cinco de Mayo celebration.
Small Batch Surly (Minneapolis, MN) – When Surly moved to their new Prospect Park brewery, they relaunched their original Brooklyn Center location as a small batch brewery. And now that experimental operation has a new Small Batch Series release that we can’t wait to get our hands on! A collaboration with Miami’s J. Wakefield Brewing, Surly Inside the Upside Down is a 9% ABV Imperial Sour that was kettle-brewed with strawberry puree and whole raspberries.
Drinking Wheaties (Atlanta, GA) – Monday Night Brewing just released its newest seasonal and not surprisingly it’s timed and primed with summer in mind. Fruited with orange peel and fiercely unfiltered, Monday Night Rucksack is a traditional German-style Hefeweizen that screams citrus fruit when combined with Mandarina Bavaria hops
