Radio X, a UK-based commercial radio station that primarily plays alternative and indie rock, is offering one of the most brilliant pieces of beer meets music swag that if you’ve ever been to a raging punk concert, we don’t have to explain. It all started with the much anticipated Oasis tour and research  commissioned by 3Gem and conducted among 2,000 British adults who identify as Oasis fans and just how many pints are expected to go flying at the iconic reunion this year.

Number of beers purchased

• Fans attending Oasis reunion gig expect to buy on average 6.2 pints
• 1,398,000 persons attending the gigs in total
• 1,398,000 x 6.2 = 8,667,600

Number of beers thrown

• 2.6~ (average number of songs that prompt fans to spill a pint)
• 60% of Oasis fans attending gig who have or would spill beer during a gig
• 1,398,000 persons attending the gigs in total
• 60% x 1,398,000 x 2.6~ = 2,219,458

Sir Richard Branson is a billionaire entrepreneur and the founder of the Virgin Group, a globally recognized brand. And now Virgin has its own branded craft beer which is currently being contract brewed for them by Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown, NY.  Exclusively available on Virgin Voyages’ four luxury cruise ships, Virgin Craft Beer is described as a “classic English-Style tyle Pale Ale brewed with fresh, mountain-sourced water in upstate New York.”

Clocking in at 5.5% ABV Virgin Craft Beer is brewed with touch of CaraRed malt for an amber hue, complemented by Citra and Centennial hops, orange peel and grains of paradise.
