July will soon be a memory and American craft brewers are addressing things with a full slate of new beers you’ll want to have around.
Oktoberfest Reason (Durango, CO) – Whether you blame it on the early fall colors to be found in the San Juan Mountains where the brewery calls home, or simply the desire to be first to market, Ska Brewing will soon be releasing an award-winning Oktoberfest lager.
Awarded a gold at the European Beer Star in the Vienna-Style Lager Category, a silver at the Stockholm Beer & Whiskey Festival, and a gold medal at the Great American Beer Festival, Ska Oktoberfest is a 6.1% ABV world-class German-style Lager with nutty, toasty flavors and a surprisingly crisp and clean finish.
Belching Beaver & Deftones Release 10th Collaboration (San Diego, CA) – Belching Beaver Brewery and American alternative metal band, Deftones started their relationship back in 2016 with Phantom Bride IPA and now ten collaborations they are releasing a Hazy version of their first collaboration.
An intense blend of tropical fruit, tangerine, and grapefruit flavors with a rounded finish that doesn’t linger too long, Belching Beaver/Deftones Phantom Bride Hazy IPA is a 7.1% ABV double dry-hopped version of the ground-breaking original, a beer that’s been called the “granddaddy of craft beer collabs.”

Hit Me! (San Diego, CA / Reno, NV) – Two ‘ace’ breweries AleSmith and Revision Brewing in Reno, Nevada crafted a special collab together and crafted a beer you’ll want in your hand. Brewed with a smart menu of Idaho 7, Chinook, and Mosaic hops, AleSmith Split Aces IPA is a 6.8% ABV West Coast-Style India Pale Ale with bright notes of tropical fruit, pine, and berries.
