April is waning and May soon to come. And American craft brewers are addressing things with a full slate of new beers you’re gonna want to chase down and they’re all IPAs.
Hair Raising (Framingham, MA) – Exhibit ‘A’ Brewing, an environmentally-conscience craft brewery that sees beer as a way of bringing people together, has an award-winning year-round that’s to die for.
Exhibit ‘A’ Hair Raiser is an 8% ABV New England-Style IPA with a bright hop bitterness that is offset by a creamy smooth mouthfeel. Available to ship DTC from their website to Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Virginia, DC, Nebraska and Pennsylvania this is a beer that you want to try as we head into summer.
Seeing Is… (Hood River, OR) – Spring has sprung in Oregon and Full Sail Brewing is greeting it with a new addition to its Strong Current IPA Series which celebrates the brewery’s dramatically beautiful region. Described by the brewery as being “so good you’ll have to taste it to believe it,” Full Sail Believing is Seeing is an 8.5% ABV Double IPA that is high on hop aromatics yet perfectly balanced.
Seconds Best (Portland, ME) – Allagash Brewing, which has been crafting some of the best Belgian-inspired beers in the world since 1998, has a summertime limited release that was born in its innovative pilot program. Brewed with traditional hops from the Czech Republic and fermented with Belgian yeast, Allagash Seconds to Summer is a 4.5% ABV hoppy refresher available across the brewery’s 19-state reach distribution footprint starting in May.
“Seconds to Summer was one of our most popular pilot beers in recent memory.” said Jason Perkins, Brewmaster at Allagash. “Our team unanimously loved this easy-drinking lager, and are really excited to be able to enjoy it during the summer.”
