2025 is ON and American craft brewers are celebrating the NFL playoff season with a new roster of beers that you’re gonna want to have around.
Darkness Done Right (San Diego, CA) – Forged in 1995, AleSmith Brewing has been recognized as one of the world’s foremost craft brewing companies. Their beers are always worth chasing down, and the Speedway Stout variations never disappoint. And now the award-winning brewery is releasing a new variation of their iconic Imperial Stout that sounds uber-promising.
A modern take on a beloved cake, AleSmith Speedway Stout: German Chocolate Cake Edition is a rich and robust 12% ABV Imperial Stout with rich coffee and semi-sweet chocolate tones, complemented by the delicate sweetness of toasted coconut and roasted pecans. And fun fact: German Chocolate Cake is not actually from Germany, but it gets its name from the brilliant chocolatier who invented it.
Packaged in 16oz 4-pack cans and draft, AleSmith’s latest Speedway Stout variation is now available in California, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Minnesota, Texas, Illinois, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, and Virginia.

Mango On The Mind (Chicago, IL) – Goose Island Beer has a new addition to their “Beer Hug” family that taps into an island vibe. Best buds with Tropical Beer Hug and Big Juicy Beer Hug, Goose Island Big Mango Beer Hug is a 9.9% ABV Imperial IPA with luscious mango notes that complement a smart hop mix.
As one of the top share-gaining categories nationally, fruit-forward imperial IPAs like Big Mango are rapidly growing in popularity, making Goose Islands latest addition to the best-selling line, a timely addition to the Beer Hug series.
Our Favorite Non-Alcoholic Stout (Dublin) – Non-Alcoholic beers have come a long way since your uncle used to order an O’Doul’s. And now Guinness has its own non-alcoholic take on its classic dry stout and it did not disappoint. Amazingly close stylistically to Guinness Draught in all aspects except buzz, Guinness 0 boasts its beautifully smooth taste, perfectly balanced flavor, unique dark color, topped off with an uber-creamy head.

To create Guinness 0 the St James’s Gate brewers, start by brewing Guinness exactly as they always have, using the same natural ingredients; water, barley, hops, and yeast; before gently removing the alcohol through a cold filtration method.
The cold filtration process allows the alcohol to be filtered out without presenting thermal stress to the beer, protecting the integrity of its taste and character. The brewers then blend and balance the flavors to ensure the distinctive flavor profile and taste characteristics of Guinness.
