Hey it’s May. And American craft brewers are addressing things with a full slate of new beers you’re gonna want to chase down.

A “Turducken” of the Beer World (Milton, PA) – Dogfish Head Craft Brewery has joined forces with Atlas Obscura’s food and drink arm, Gastro Obscura, to launch a limited-edition, first-of-its-kind craft beer experiment that they describe as the “Turducken” of the Beer World.

Brewed with a boatload of off-centered culinary ingredients, including barley, spelt, muscat grape juice concentrate, flaked rice, apple juice concentrate, honey rice syrup, date syrup, yeast, hops and rose petals, Dogfish Head x Gastro Obscura Fermentation Engastration is a 10% ABV uber-limited release (only 1,000 bottles crafted) that draws inspiration from a collection of complex fermented beverages – a rose-scented sake, a Mid-Atlantic honey and date mead, a bittersweet hard cider, a fruity Muscat wine and a rustic farmhouse ale.

Shiner Beers Introduces ¡Órale! (Shiner TX) – Órale! is an authentically Mexican term that can be a greeting, a question, an affirmation or a call to action. And now it’s the newest addition to Shiner’s growing family of beers. Crafted with premium 2-row malt and Lager yeast and brewed with agave, Shiner ¡Órale! Is a 4.5% ABV Mexican Lager with mildly sweet and earthy notes.

A Wheat Treat (Comstock Park, MI) – Perrin Brewing has a tasty year-round offering that’s approachable and perfect for this time of year. Brewed using a classic blend of American hops along with new world varietals, Perrin Willow Wheat is a 5.6% ABV Wheat Ale with a bright medley of floral notes and aromas.
