Summer is peaking and American craft brewers are addressing the season with new late summer offerings you’re gonna want to have around.
Mango Madness (Croydon, PA) – Neshaminy Creek Brewing, an award-winning craft brewery and taproom located just north of Philadelphia in Bick’s County is returning a very special beer that was named one of the Top 50 Beers of 2022 by Wine Enthusiast.
A crisp and refreshing relative of the American Light Lager that crafted with flaked maize and gentle Hallertau hops, Neshaminy Creek Better Maize Ahead American Cream Ale is a 4.9% ABV refresher soft mouthfeel, subtly sweet cereal character reminiscent of corn pops and a delicate floral finish
“This beer was born out of our love of classic Cream Ales – a style a lot of our staff is passionate about,” said Neshaminy Creek Founder and Head Brewer, Rob Jahn. “It’s our third time releasing Better Maize Ahead, and with every iteration, we have received overwhelmingly positive feedback from our fans.”

POGressive (Escondido, CA) – In 2016, actor and comedian Jonah Ray joined Stone brewer Kris Ketcham for a collaboration brew at Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Liberty Station. Ray, a native Hawaiian, grew up on the stuff island childhoods were made of – POG Juice. And now the brewery is bringing back an all-time fan favorite, this time bigger than ever.
Tart, refreshing, citrusy and quite simply spectacular, Stone Imperial Notorious P.O.G. is an 8% ABV fruit-forward Berliner Weisse with tart and effervescent tones that were inspired by the beloved island drink’s melding of passion fruit, orange and guava flavors.
Hey Pumpkin (Saint Louis, MO) – Schlafly Beer is returning an award-winning fall seasonal that Missouri’s largest locally-owned brewery has been crafting for over 10 years. A showcase of sweetness and spice, Schlafly Pumpkin Ale is an 8% ABV limited release that’s not unlike the best slice of pumpkin pie, but only in a bottle.
