On The Big Screen – M. Night Shyamalan completes the Philadelphia-based superhero trilogy that he began in 2000 with Unbreakable and continued in 2016’s surprise hit Split. Glass returns Bruce Willis as David Dunn the reluctant superhero from Unbreakable, and Samuel L Jackson as his nemesis, Mr. Glass. James McAvoy reprises his role as The Beast from Split, a villain with 23 personalities and superhuman strength.
25 Years Of Serious Beer & Barleywine (Anchorage, Alaska) – The 25th annual Great Alaska Beer & Barleywine Festival is returning to Anchorage this weekend and when it comes to cold weather and big beer drinking, there’s not a better event on the face of the planet! This year’s two-day (Jan 18 &19) three session beerganza will showcase more than 300 Barleywines, Strong Ales and Winter Seasonals from more than 80 of the region’s most exciting brewers. There will also be plenty of great music and artisan food, so you don’t want to miss this amazing beer gathering.
