Drink New England (Portland, Maine) – Portland Beer Week’s 12 days of fun wraps up this weekend and you’ve still time to take part in one America’s most exciting craft beer weeks. Drink Florida Craft Beer (Plant City, FL) – Two Henrys Brewing returns their 4th Annual Biertoberfest this Saturday, November 12th, at the Keel & Curley Winery and it’s always a good time! A true celebration of handcrafted beers from Florida, his year’s warm weather throwdown will feature more than 100 exotic offerings from the region’s most exciting breweries. Music / Music / Music (Los Angeles, CA) – The 2016 Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival is an annual music festival geared towards fans of Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All (OFWGKTA), a hip-hop collective from Los Angeles. And it returns to Exposition Park this weekend (Nov 12th-13th) with an expanded and eclectic mix of hip hop artist featuring headliners like Erykah Badu. Lil Wayne and Chance the Rapper. ACB WEEKEND BEER PICK
With Friday being Veteran’s Day, and the Presidential Elections still in the air, we’re feeling especially patriotic this weekend and plan on hitting up something historic that was crafted Blue Point Brewing that’s currently only available at their taproom, but will be distributed soon. Inspired by an authentic 1757 brewing recipe from George Washington that was in an old military manual, Blue Point Colonial Ale is a 3.9% American Brown Ale, fueled on corn, oats, what, spruce tips, molasses and tradition.
