One of the benefits of AB InBev’s successful merger with SABMiller was that it allowed the world’s largest beer company increased access to the African continent. It’s an enormous beer market that has its own unique African brands, that Budweiser’s maker now plans to market to the world.

AB InBev’s got big plans to help offset the $103 billion cost of acquiring SABMiller – so get ready for African exports to start coming your way!

Bloomberg is reporting that in addition to introducing their flagship brands such as Budweiser, Stella Artois and Corona to the African marketplace AB InBev “plans to sell packs of eight African beer brands outside the continent, including Castle, the dominant brand in South Africa, Kilimanjaro of Tanzania and Nigeria’s Hero.
