Omaha Gets Serious about Its Craft Beer (Omaha, NE) – Omaha Beer Week kicks off this weekend and if you’re out that way, you don’t want to miss it! This ten-day celebration starts today and runs through next Sunday, February 24, and will be taking place all over the city. There will be a craft beer bus tour, meet-the-brewer events, tap-takeovers, and special tastings….But most importantly, THERE WILL BE BEER! On The Big Screen – Some of you may remember the Paul Verhoeven’s RoboCop that was released back in 1987. It was an exceedingly violent blend of black comedy, crime, and science fiction that quickly became a huge box office success. And if this remake is even half as good as the original, we’ll be happy. 2014’s RoboCop stars Joel Kinnaman (The Killing), Gary Oldman, and Michael Keaton in a story of a critically injured police officer who gets another chance as a part-man, part-robot crime warrior battling crime in a dystopian Detroit of the future.

Road Trip to a Craft Beer Kathmandu (Flagstaff, AZ) – Flagstaff is a small city with approximately 65,000 residents, nestled at the base of the San Francisco Peaks and sitting at around 7,000 feet above sea level. With the Grand Canyon in the vicinity and Route 66 running through it, Flagstaff has long been known as a travel destination for outdoor enthusiasts and adventurers. TV Time: The Walking Dead (AMC) – After a less than impressive first season, AMC’s apocalyptic zombie horror series The Walking Dead has grown to become one of television’s smartest shows. Part 1 of Season 4 was without a doubt their best to date and its brutal half-season climax left us hungry for more. Well, Part 2 of Season 4 returned last Sunday (Feb 9^th at 9/8c). So fasten your seat belts, lock your doors, and brace yourself for some of the BEST TV EVER!

Musical Ganga Fest (Miami, FL) – If you’re sick of this winter’s weather and in the mood for some music, we can’t think of a better place to be than at the 9 Mile Music Festival. This one-day celebration of Reggae and the Rastafarian spirit will feature performers such as Damian, Stephen and Julian Marley, Sean Paul and Lauren Hill and its taking place tomorrow (Feb 13^th) at the Miami Dade County Fair Expo–and we guarantee you, it will be smokin’!
