New Beer Alert: Festive Spiced Lagers And Dank Winter Seasonals

The Winter Holidays are ON and American craft brewers are addressing things with an exciting roster of new beers you’re gonna want to have around as things increasingly festive.
Dankness Done Right (Portland, OR) – Von Ebert Brewing just released, the third in a series of three spin-off recipes of its signature, award-winning Volatile Substance Northwest IPA, a truly great IPA.
Part of the brewery’s Volatile Substance Varietal Series, Von Ebert Saturated Substance NW IPA is a dank 6.9% ABV American India Pale Ale with bright notes dark berry, pine and diesel notes, and an aroma reminiscent of a cannabis dispensary.
“We’re excited to introduce three new varietals to celebrate our award-winning Volatile Substance Northwest IPA. These releases are Where Tradition Meets Evolution, shaking things up while staying true to the bold hop flavors and aromas that define our flagship IPA,” said Sam Pecoraro, brewmaster of Von Ebert Brewing. “We’ve taken our Northwest IPA even farther into NW territory with the addition of cannabis-inspired terpenes, giving it an aroma and flavor reminiscent of your favorite dispensary.”

And they’ve two limited releases that you’ll want to chase down before they disappear for the season.
Crafted with a smart mix of Northern Brewer and Saaz hops, Devils Backbone Pumpkin Spice Lager is a 5.2% ABV Amber Lager with pumpkin pie spice extract that puts a decadent seasonal spin on things.
Brewed with a deft combination of Light Munich, Special Aromatic, Cara-Hell, Vienna, 2-Row malts and an abundance Hallertau Tradition and Tettnang hops, Devils Backbone O’Fest Lager is a smooth yet robust 5.9% ABV definitive take on the modern German Oktoberfest beer.
Born In Northern California (Sausalito, CA) – With more craft breweries than ever before, brewing serious non-alcoholic beer, ACB has expanded our coverage to include new NA beers that matter. And Best Day Brewing has a West Coast IPA that absolutely nails the style.
Brimming with classic Cascade hops that add a subtle bite to the beer’s finish, Best Day Brewing’s buzz-free West Coast IPA could not be more convincing. And we promise you you’ll never find a more flavorful non-alcoholic IPA with only 68 calories.
