October is ON and craft brewers are addressing fall’s arrival with exciting new offerings you’re gonna want to chase down this weekend.

May Day (Cape May, NJ) – Cape May Brewing is canning a hometown favorite that’s been a staple of brewery’s lineup ever since the company’s inception, and has strong roots in South Jersey. Crafted using only fresh New Jersey honey,  Cape May Honey Porter is a deceptively smooth 5.4% ABV Brown Porter with an uber-light body and just a hint of sweetness.

“Honey Porter is a beer that got its start when I was homebrewing in my Brooklyn bathtub, and the recipe as a whole hasn’t changed much since,” says Cape May Brewing Company CEO Ryan Krill. “We pride ourselves in providing the same experiences people know and love every time they open a can, and the same is certainly true for this beer.”

Wet Dreams (Vista, CA / Nampa, ID) – Mother Earth is returning one of its original annual releases crafted with a less common hop known for imparting distinct tangerine, coconut, tropical fruit, and stone fruit aromas to the beer. Brewed with Sabro hops taking center stage in front of an appropriately muted malt bill, Mother Earth Wet Hop Dreams is a 6.7% ABV fresh hop IPA, with earthy cedar mint and cream notes.

100+ Years Of Brewing (Shiner, TX) – The Spoetzl Brewery, home to the legendary Shiner Bock is celebrating 118 years of brewing with a new release that’s now available nationwide. Inspired by the simple ingredients Shiner’s brewers used the year the brewery was founded, Shiner 1909  is 4.5% ABV small-batch lager crafted with Heritage 2-row barley, Noble hops, Shiner’s proprietary lager yeast and water from the same artesian well the founders discovered more than a century ago.

An Impressive Nitro Stout (Elk Rapids, MI) – Short’s Brewing has new limited release which is a lighter take on the nitro stout concept that doesn’t skimp on flavor. Brimming with bold roasted coffee and chocolate notes yet totally approachable, Short’s Super Delicious Stout is a 4.4% ABV sessionable fall seasonal with the creamy nitro-infused mouth feel that only enriches its delivery.
