Grand Ambitions (Hershey, PA) – Tröegs Independent Brewing has a new holiday offering that’s exclusively available in the brewery’s Winter Variety Pack. Cold-Steeped in Peruvian Cacao and natural vanilla, Tröegs Grand Cacao is a creamy 6.5% ABV milk-sugar infused Chocolate Stout built on a rich foundation of chocolate and caramel malts, and roasted barley.
Cranking Up The Haze (Worcester, MA) – At a time when many American craft breweries are introducing lower-octane and considerably more sessionable beers than ever before, Greater Good Brewing Imperial Beer Co. is thinking BIG and offering nothing but Imperial-sized offerings. And they’ve an awesome year-round that’s worth chasing down. Unfiltered and boldly citrus-forward, Greater Good Pulp Daddy is an 8% ABV, juicy, hazy New England IPA with an intoxicatingly smooth mouthfeel.

Corny (Austin, TX) – One of our favorite breweries, Jester King has a new pale lager that was brewed with hominy, or corn that has been nixtamalized. Nixtamalization involves soaking the dried corn kernels in a lye solution to soften them. Once softened, the kernels can be ground to make grits or masa flour. Brewed using Jester King Hickory King White Corn from their friends at TexMalt in Fort Worth, Jester King Hominimania is a 5.1% ABV crisp, hoppy, dry and drinkable Hominy Lager that’s corny (but not).
Mint Night Drinking (Comstock Park, MI) – Perrin Brewing has a new addition to its Side Hustle Series, a line of beers that allows Perrin’s brewers to explore new ingredients and techniques, and innovative new flavors. Perfect as an after dinner drink or as an anytime holiday treat, Perrin Mint Night Snack is a 5.8% ABV Porter with smooth chocolate notes and a refreshing mint finish.
