American Craft Beer Not One Of The ‘Best Places To Work In 2017’
“What are we dog-shit?” – Tom Bobak, American Craft Beer
The OUTSIDE crew recently released their annual listing of the best places to work in 2017, and to the surprise of quite possibly no one, American Craft Beer was once again not recognized as even an “okay” place to work at.
Obviously legitimacy and drug-testing took their toll on the questionable craft beer news, entertainment and lifestyle site…as well as its numerous punctuation errors.
“Companies from across the country entered a rigorous two-part survey process to make the winning list,” said Jonah Ogles, Articles Editor at OUTSIDE Magazine.
“The Best Companies Group evaluates each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. There’s also an employee survey to measure personal experience.”

ACB’s Tom Bobak drinks to forget another loss
‘What are we dog shit,” inquired a clearly disgruntled Tom Bobak, Editor for the alt-craft beer publication.
“I get that we’re not flush with cash like AB InBev properties such as October or even RateBeer, but we did fix the microwave last week, and we’ve been able to make our rent lately
“And not everyone can offer their employees cushy perks like Brewbound or Good Beer Hunting does,” Bobak defensively continued, “but at least we allow our interns to drink on the job…assuming they’ve a fairly convincing fake ID.”
Industry leaders like Allagash, Deschutes, New Belgium and Ska Brewing were all honored in OUTSIDE’s Best Places to Work 2017…
And for reasons that many consider obvious, American Craft Beer was, once again, not.
