Stone Brewing Gets Into The Hotel Biz

Looks like Stone Brewing will finally be building the destination hotel that they’ve been dreaming of for so long. According to a press release that we that we received from them this morning, Stone will be partnering with a San Diego-based hospitality collective, Untitled Hospitality, to build the companies’ first-ever brewery hotel.

It’s going to be fun watching their dream come to fruition.

The concept and inspiration for Stone Hotel comes from Stone co-founders, Greg Koch and Steve Wagner. But according to the press release, the hotel will basically “be constructed, owned and managed by Untitled Hospitality through an exclusive license agreement.”

According to Stone, The new hotel, which hopes to open in the first quarter of 2018, will be located on thirteen acres of land adjacent to Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Escondido,  and “offer an all-encompassing experience with amenities to captivate craft beer enthusiasts and novices alike, alongside the usual healthy dose of Stone’s disregard for convention.”

The hotel’s driveway will be designed to recreate beer flowing from a tap and its lobby will display rare historical Stone memorabilia.

Stone beer will, of course, remain a centerpiece of the new operation and be readily available on a whim. In addition to three onsite bars that will offer up all kinds of special release and rarities, you’ll receive complimentary beer upon check-in and there’s even an in-room growler delivery service!

Stone is adamant that the new hotel will mirror the philosophy of all their projects, be tasteful, super-creative and a one-of-a-kind beer tourism experience.

And given their success with other projects in the past and we look forward to its completion.
