Changing Beers – Changing Seasons… Summer will soon be giving way to early fall and we’ve all the right beers for the season’s eventual transition Plus we’ve some interesting new offerings from SweetWater Brewing and Great Divide that you’ll want to get your sweaty little hands on.

Elevating The Conversation (Poncha Springs, CO) – And Elevation Beer Company has a new Green Series release to do it with! Elevation Wave Wheel Wit is a 4.6% ABV Belgian-style Ale that was brewed with sweet and bitter orange peel as well as a touch of coriander to add a little more depth to the mix.

Sky Red (Baltimore, MD) – Heavy Seas Beer will be returning a popular Uncharted Waters Series release and it’s one of our favorites. Aged for 9 months in chardonnay wine barrels 2016’s Red Sky at Morning is a 10% ABV Belgian-style Saison that’s both complex and nuanced. The brewery views this offering as a worlds colliding event- as old world (wine) mixes it up with the new world (beer).

Returned From Retired (Denver, CO) – Great Divide is returning an “oldie but goodie” that was retired back in 2012. Great Divide Samurai Ale is a 5.1% ABV American Blonde that was brewed (now don’t get pissed off Budweiser) with rice.

Southern Hash Browns (Atlanta, GA) – SweetWater Brewing  will be returning a potent new hop hash variant as an early fall seasonal. Resinous yet citrusy and loaded with copious amounts of Mandarina Bavaria, Bravo and of course, Hop Hash,  SweetWater Hash Brown is a 6.2% India Brown Ale that’s scheduled to hit retail in early September.

Chai High (Boulder, CO) – Avery Brewing recently released a new canned offering that was once a Tap Room Rarity fav. Avery Chai High is a 5.2% ABV Brown Ale brewed with ginger and various spices and infused with organic Chai tea.
