Spring has sprung, and summer’s on it way and American craft brewers are addressing things with sensational new beers you’re gonna want to have around.

A Bier For Every Dia! (Boulder, CO) – Avery Brewing has a new addition to its growing El Gose family that just screams summertime. Inspired a tangy Mexican cocktail known for combining lime and salt, Avery Gose con Sandía is a 4.5% ABV Sour Ale that adds fresh watermelon flavors to the already fruity mix. A bier for every dia!

“The original session sour ale, El Gose, is brought to an entirely new dimension with the creation of Gose con Sandía, because of its subtly sweet, slightly tart taste,” Avery Brewing Company Brewing Manager Josh Rapp explained. “Gose con Sandía is a play on a Mexican cocktail known for combining lime and salt, which is also where the Spanish name comes in.”

Pike Peaks (Seattle, WA) – Pike Brewing is celebrating all things Washington State with the release of a new seasonal that’s crafted using 100% locally sourced ingredients. Brewe with Opera pilsner and oats from Skagit Valley Malting, Purple Egyptian, Elwha Spelt, and Gazelle Rye from LINC Malt, Mosaic and Simcoe from Yakima Chief Hops and Azacca from Roy Farms, Peak Mountains Out is a 7% ABV IPA with candied tangerine and lime peels, alpine berries, and evergreen pine notes that linger.

Yazoo Hop Project Returns (Nashville, TN) -To celebrate its 20th year of brewing in Nashville, Yazoo Brewing is bringing back its ever-evolving Hop Project Series of IPAs, but with a new twist.  The renamed Impy Hop Project series will once again focus on new trends and innovations in the world of hops, but at a higher 7% ABV. And the renewed series will only be available on draft or in large-format 19.2oz “stovepipe” cans.

“We ended our original Hop Project series when we decided we had found the perfect blend of hops, retiring it after eighty-six different variations over ten years”, said Linus Hall, co-owner of Yazoo Brewing.  “But the world of hops has continued to evolve, with new varieties from all over the world. Plus, new developments in yeast selections can bring amazing new flavors from traditional hops.  We had so many new ideas that we decided to bring back the Hop Project series.”
