, Ukrainian Relief Beer Campaigns Go Global

What started as individual efforts by Eastern European craft brewers to brew beers supporting relief efforts in Ukraine has become a worldwide movement that’s growing daily.

Here’s the deal….

In the US it began when Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based Lakewood Brewing introduced its Putin is a Dick beer label crowlers to generate funds for Ukraine relief efforts that has grown into a movement that signs no signs of slowing.

Then global craft brewer BrewDog announced the launch of a new beer, United for Ukraine and 100% of its profits being donated to the Disasters Emergency Committee Appeal’s humanitarian efforts in Ukraine. “The last thing we can do is sit idly by” BrewDog co-Founder James Watt said about the brewery’s effort. “We stand with the people of Ukraine and have suspended shipments to Russia indefinitely.”
