The American Craft Beer Weekend Picks – July 18, 2014
Hey it’s Friday…Work’s been a bitch this week so you’re ready for some serious fun. Well good, because we’re all about it and we’ve got all kinds of ideas for you. From the nation’s coolest beer festivals to movies, music, and cutting-edge TV – we’ve got your back big-time. We’ve also a Weekend Beer Pick for you too, because we know you’ll be drinking.
So welcome to our awesome Weekend Picks…

On The Big Screen – Some of the cast, as well as the director, from 2011’s Bad Teacher reunite in this weekend’s new R-rated comedy Sex Tape and it’s opening nationwide this weekend. Jason Segel and Cameron Diaz star as a married couple who attempt to spice up their married life by making a sex tape together – only to find it missing the next day. And if you’re looking for something other than a sex comedy, there’s always Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, which is getting some of the most positive reviews of the summer.

TV Time – One of cable TV’s most interesting guilty pleasures, Ray Donovan, has just returned for its second season to the Showtime network, and if you’ve not yet checked it out, well, you need to. This LA-based crime drama stars Liev Schreiber as Raymond “Ray” Donovan, a fixer who negotiates the trials and tribulations of Hollywood’s glitterati while struggling with overwhelming family demands at home. The cast is rich, deep, and accomplished, and Jon Voight, who plays Ray’s criminal father, Mickey Donovan, is riveting.(Sundays @ 9 p.m. only on SHOWTIME)

Stone Brewing’s audacious Fresh IPA series is rolling out its newest Enjoy By 08.16.14 IPA this week. This edition is shipping out to you lucky bastards in California, Massachusetts, Connecticut, South Carolina, and Alabama – so you know what to do.
