, The American Craft Beer Weekend Picks – January 9, 2014On The Big Screen – Early January is a traditional dumping ground for Hollywood’s more questionable projects and Taken 3 is certainly that. Liam Neeson returns as Bryan Mills, an ex-government operative accused of a ruthless murder he never committed (aren’t they all?). As he is tracked and pursued, the 55+ Mills uses his particular set of CIA-derived skills to find the true killer and clear his name (at least till Taken 4).

A Beer Festival That’s Ready to Wow! (Plainfield, IL)  At a conventional craft beer event, attendees might get one or two chances to sample a beer that’s never been poured before. The OneDer Beers Festival is happening this Saturday (January 10th), from 25 p.m. Nevin’s (12337 South Route 59 in Plainfield, Illinois) will host nearly 30 breweries, each offering samples that have never been tasted by the general public.
