In addition to its year-round line-up Summit Brewing is returning Twenty-One IPA, a 7% ABV India Pale Ale crafted by seven brewers, using seven malts and seven hops (21, get it?).

After stepping in for Summit Maibock, the brewery’s spring season for almost 30 years, Summit Twenty-One IPA made its debut in 2020 had a phenomenal year. It will return in 6- and 12-packs of 12oz cans and on draught at selection locations.

Summer

Summer sees the return of Summit Cabin Crusher Kölsch-Style Ale with Lime.

First brewed in 2019 as a limited release, this crisp, easy-drinking 4.8% Kölsch-Style Ale quickly became a fan favorite. Lemon-lime citrus-forward hops, such as the Lemon Drop and Loral varieties are balanced by malt flavors and aromas of honey, biscuit and toast.

Slightly hazy in appearance with huge citrus rind aromas, this beer is available on draught and in 6- and 12-packs of 12oz cans.

The arrival of fall also means the arrival of one of Summit’s most awarded beers.

Inspired by Munich’s ultimate beer celebration, Summit Oktoberfest is a 6.5% ABV Märzen Lager that many consider to be one of the truest examples of the historic style in the world.

Full-bodied, thanks to a blend of European hops and Moravian 37 malts, Summit’s fall offering is bursting with rich toffee tones, yet finishes clean and crisp like the Midwest’s autumn air.

The sought-after fall seasonal returns in 6- and 12-packs of 12oz bottles and 12-packs of 12oz cans, starting in August.

Winter

Summit Brewing is wrapping up 2021 with its most popular seasonal, a beer that the brewery describes as “comforting as a down blanket….and way better tasting.”

Floral, spicy, bready and sweet, Summit Winter Ale is a 6.2% ABV British-Style Winter Warmer with hints of espresso, caramel and black cherry for a velvety smooth finish.

With its bold seasonal offerings supporting a sturdy lineup of seven core offerings  and special releases, Summit Founder and President Mark Stutrud feels the company it poised for a better 2021…

“Throughout Summit Brewing’s 35-year history we’ve had several challenging years, and we’ll certainly have more in the future, but 2020 was something new for all of us. I’m proud to say the Summit Brewing team came out strong and that we continued to maintain a great foundation of quality and consistency”
