Samuel Adams Celebrates World Series Winning Boston Red Sox With Special Beer

|October 30th, 2018|

Some beer and sports opportunities are meant to happen…Like the Boston Red Sox winning the 2018 World Series, and Samuel Adams celebrating its hometown heroes with a special beer.

Here’s the deal…

Boston’s Samuel Adams has a lot to celebrate this year. In the same year that they became the official beer of the Boston Red Sox, their team dominated the World Series.

So this calls for beer, right?

And this week the Boston Beer Company, home to the heritage craft beer brand,  is answering the call with Damage Done, an uber-special release  that will only be available at its Samuel Adams Boston Brewery and only available this week.

Described by Boston Beer’s communication specialist Meaghan Quinn as a 7.3% ABV Double IPA that was “aged on vanilla beans with guava, mango and lactose added for as much fun and flavor as the Sox themselves, ” this VERY limited celebratory one-off  will make its debut, Tuesday night at 5 p.m. ET.

Samuel Adams Damage Done will be available on draft as well as in special commemorative 32 oz. crowlers this week, but only at its Boston, so you know what to do.

And to keep the party going, the brewery will be pairing its special release with Red Sox koozies and posters that celebrate this year’s champions.
