Samuel Adam’s is making an offer that 10,000 beer fans may find hard to refuse…Free beer when you get a COVID-19 vaccination.
Here’s the deal….
Samuel Adams has launched the #ShotForSam vaccine incentive program to give $7 to the first 10,000 people who share evidence on social media of receiving the vaccine.
As part of its April 7th announcement, which also happened to be National Beer Day, the Boston-based brewery released another humorous video spot starring Sam Adams’ comedic “Your Cousin From Boston”
In one fell swoop Samuel Adam’s #ShotForSam campaign does a number of good things. It encourages the public to get their preventative COVID-19 vaccinations and forwards thousands of lucky recipients beer money that can be redeemed at bars and restaurants that badly need support.
“Sam Adams hopes drinkers will get back to supporting the bars and restaurants they love. So if you get vaccinated against COVID-19, we’ll buy your first beer back!”
Starting April 12 and running till May 15, if you post your vaccination sticker or bandage, the company will send you $7 through Cash App for a beer at your favorite bar.
And when posting your photo, don’t forget to include #shotforsam and tag @SamuelAdamsBeer on Instagram or Twitter.
Then check for a direct message from Samuel Adams and make sure you have set up a Cash App account because that’s how you’re beer money will be transferred.
