No Ordinary Bitter (Chicago, IL) – Brewing up a movement in Chicago’s North-side Logan Square neighborhood for over 4 years, Revolution Brewing just yesterday tapped a real English style Session called Brixton Bitter. Considered a traditional rendition of an Ordinary Bitter, it features four varieties of lightly toasted malts, plus UK Progress and UK Golding hops to balance things out. At an ABV of only 3.2%, an IBU of 25 and served on nitro, you could drink this all day long. This brave bitter’s only available on tap.

Three from Two Roads (Stratford, CT) – Soon to be released at its Nor-Yeaster event April 19th, Two Roads Brewinghas created three rare, brewery-only brews: Urban Funk Wild Ale – featuring a wild yeast captured during Superstorm Sandy, Krazy Plucker – a Berliner Weissbier, and Henry’s Farm Double Bock Lager Aged in Rye Whiskey Barrels. Coming in at ABV’s of 5.6%, 3.6% and 7.8%, respectively, there’ll be wild flavors for every taste and preference.
