So many beers- So little time… Summer has definitely arrived and we’ve all the right beers for the season! We’ve some interesting new offerings from Firestone Walker and Dogfish Head that you’ll want to get your sweaty little hands on.

Flesh & Blood (Milton, DE) – Dogfish Head was one of the first craft breweries, to offer a fruit-forward IPA – after all, they introduced Aprihop way back in 1996. And now, on July 4th weekend, they’ll be releasing another. Dogfish Head’s Flesh & Blood is a quaffable 7.5% ABV American IPA brewed with real lemon flesh and blood orange juice, for a hoppy and citrusy one-two punch.

Passionate (Longmont, CO /Brevard, NC / Austin, TX) – Oskar Blues has a new take on their popular PINNER that’s available now, but won’t be forever. Pasion Fruit PINNER Throwback IPA is a zesty yet sessionable, 4.9% Indi Pale Ale, textured with immense additions of pureed passion fruit and a small spike of pureed Blood Orange.

Recasting A Classic Bitter (Paso Robles, CA) – A Firestone Walker classic is set to be recast in the brewery’s 20th anniversary year, in a new “draft-only” variant. Firestone Walker’s Nitro DBA is their traditional English-style bitter that’s brewed and pushed to the tap with nitrogen gas, resulting in a thick, long-lasting head – and an ultra-creamy mouthfeel. Yesssssssssssssssss!

N-10 Takes Things To 11 (Eugene, OR) – Ninkasi is celebrating its 10th Anniversary with a series of special releases starting in July. First off the line is Ninkasi N10, a massive Imperial Blended Ale that’s crafted of 50% Imperial Stout, 10% Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout, 12.5% Imperial Total Domination IPA, 12.5% Imperial Maiden the Shade IPA, and 15% Critical Hit Barleywine. The result according to Ninkasi, is a blended ale with a striking hop intensity and a rich roasted caramel malt backbone.

A Third Party Candidate – (Burlington, MA) – Clown Shoes’ California sales rep, Phil “Filthy” Thomas has announced that he’s running as a third-party candidate for president. And Clown Shoes Beer is releasing a special beer in support of his campaign (which is nice of them). Third Party Candidate is a hop-forward 7% ABV India Pale Lager that drinks honestly and promises it won’t lie to you.
