Oktoberfest USA (Bitburg, Germany) – Established in 1817, Bitburger is currently one of the fastest growing German beer brands in the US. And the brewery has just released a special beer that was crafted to capture the American way of celebrating German style beer festivals in October.

Brewed with a very special malt composition, including Pilsner Malt, Münchner Malt and light Caramel Malt, and a unique hop blend called ‘Siegelhopfen’ which is sourced from a farm just a few minutes from the brewery, Bitburger Festbier is a full-bodied 6.2% ABV Märzen…an almost perfect melding of hops and malt with a slightly sweet backbone, a lingering bitterness, and strikingly dry finish.

“During my career at Bitburger, I have spent a lot of time in the U.S. There, I got to know the American beer market. Now, after our successful Triple Hop’d Lager collaboration with our friends from Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, the time has come. When our specially crafted Bitburger Festbier hits the market in August, it will convey a traditional German style while also appealing to the desires of our American fans.”

An Eye- Opener (Grand Rapids, MI) – Founders Brewing has a new addition to its Limited Series lineup that originated in its Detroit taproom and has graduated to national distribution throughout the brewery’s 50 state footprint. Reminiscent of your favorite iced coffee drink, Founders Marvelroast is an 8% ABV Imperial Golden Ale enhanced with the addition of coffee, vanilla and cocoa nibs and toned with lactose sugar which adds to the beer’s creamy mouthfeel.

Sweater Weather (Boston, MA) – Boston Beer has released a brand new take on the pumpkin ale that’s available now on draft and in 12oz bottles, as well as in the Samuel Adams Sweater Weather Variety Pack. Samuel Adams Jack-O is a 4.4% ABV Shandy/Pumpkin Ale that delicately balances seasonal spices with a solid malt backbone.

Better Red Than Dead (Princeton, CA) – Founded in 2017 by a fifth-generation farmer, Farmers Brewing has a new limited release that’s part of the brewery’s Farm to Glass Series. Crafted with estate grown rice and select caramel malts that deliver a clean body and smooth mouthfeel, Farmers Rattle Can Red is a 5% ABV American Amber Ale with nuanced notes roasted caramel and toffee.
