New Mango Lagers And Fresh Hop Beers
September is ON, and American craft brewers are looking to fall with an ever-evolving roster of beers you’re gonna want to have around.
Fresh Hop Season Arrives in The Pacific Northwest (Portland, OR) – It’s fresh hop season Von Ebert Brewing is celebrating Northwest breweries’ favorite time of year, with a whole slew of this uber fresh exotics.
“We’re lucky to be in the Northwest making beer where nearly all of America’s hops are grown. This geographic advantage allows us to celebrate fresh hops in a way other breweries can’t. We’re also able to partner with local hop growers right in our backyard,” said Sam Pecoraro, brewmaster of Von Ebert Brewing. “At Von Ebert Brewing, we’re proud to have evolved our traditional beer offerings with fresh Oregon-grown hop varieties from our partners at Goschie Farms, Coleman Agriculture and Perrault Farms.”
Von Ebert Brewing will release at least:
- Fresh Hop Volatile Substance NW IPA brewed using Indie Hops Strata from Goschie Farms – 16-ounce cans and draft
- Fresh Hop Sector 7 Hazy IPA with Krush hops from Perrault Farms – 16-ounce cans and draft
- Fresh Hop Pils with Hallertau 102 hops from Goschie Farms – draft only
These fresh hop beers will be available at Von Ebert Brewing locations along with Northwest bars, bottleshops and grocery stores starting September 4 and going through October or while supplies last.
Truckin’ (Turlock, CA) – Dust Bowl Brewing has a new addition to its popular Taco Truck Family, a line of Mexican lagers. Joining the original Taco Truck Lager and zesty Taco Truck Lime, Dust Bowl Taco Truck Mango is an uber-balanced 3.8% ABV mango-infused Mexican lager with a subtle sweetness and approachable character.
“Mango additions in our specialty beers have generally performed well in our taprooms, but the response to Taco Truck Mango has been exceptional,” Don Oliver, Brewmaster said. “The fruit character blends beautifully with the base beer and it is resonating with a broad group of customers.”
“Taco Truck Mango was a natural next step for the series,” said Brett Tate, founder of Dust Bowl Brewing added. “It builds on the approachability of our original Taco Truck Lager while adding just enough mango to deliver something new, flavorful, and fun.”
