September is ON, and American craft brewers are looking to fall with an ever-evolving roster of beverages you’re gonna want to have around.
Prost! (Roseland, VA) – Named after the hard-to-summit Virginia mountain range, Devils Backbone Brewing Company is a craft brewery and distillery in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains that has been creating delicious craft beers since 2008. And they’ve a fall seasonal that we fell for.
Crafted with a sturdy mix of Hallertau Tradition and Tettnang hops, Devils Backbone O’Fest Lager is a 5.9% ABV contemporary take on the classic European Oktoberfest bier.
Wicked Ways (Asheville, NC) – One of our favorite breweries, Wicked Weed Brewing is very much on the comeback trail after the devastating floods that brought Ashville to its knees last October. And although the brewery is renowned for its Sour Beer production, they also brew a serious Pilsner that was ten years in development.

Righteously crafted using German malts Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops, Wicked Weed Pils is 5.2% ABV Pilsner with a bright, crisp character that gives way to a soft, pillowy finish.
Eye Opening (Nashville, TN) – Tennessee’s fastest growing brewery TailGate Brewery has a new addition to their roster that’s now available at TailGate taprooms as well as at retail statewide. The culmination of years of tinkering with coffee that is crafted with locally roasted beans, Tailgate Coolship Coffee is an unsweetened medium bodied dark roast cold brew coffee with bold notes of rich chocolate and just the right bittersweet balance.

“Our goal is to have something for everyone, no matter the mood or time of day,” says Wesley Keegan, founder and owner of TailGate Brewery.
“Beer is our primary passion, and you’ll even see that in the name – Coolship Coffee! Over the years our brewing expertise has lent itself to other forms of beverages, all to ensure you have a great drink to enjoy with the people you love. And of course, locally roasted!”
