A Citrus Cyclone (Paso Robles, CA) – Firestone Walker Brewing has returned a tasty Mind Haze IPA variation that’s exclusively available, along with two other fun takes, as part of the 2023 Mind Haze Tropical Hazy Mixed Pack. A unique spin on the Hazy India Pale Ale, Firestone Citrus Cyclone IPA delivers a 6.2% ABV explosion of bright citrus, finished with a distinct kiss of real tangerine.
The base beer is co-fermented with fresh California tangerines, then blended back with a separate lot of dry-hopped Mind Haze and finished off with a final dash of tangerine to elevate the citrusy top note. Mandarina hops adds a distinctive orange character and the result is a remarkably bracing Mind Haze experience.
