May is ON and American craft brewers are welcoming the warmer weather with an exciting roster of beers that you’re gonna want to have around as we look to summer.

Fasten Your Seat Belt (San Diego, CA) –  AleSmith Brewing Is celebrating the historic legacy of Belmont Park, an oceanfront amusement park in San Diego that was developed by sugar magnate John D. Spreckels and opened on July 4, 1925. And they are doing it with a brand new beer created in collaboration their friends at Belmont Park.

Brewed to celebrate 100 years of ‘amusement’ and the rides that remain from the original 1925 park include the Giant Dipper, a wooden roller coaster that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Belmont Park Centennial IPA is a bold and crisp, 6.2% ABV West Coast-style IPA that will have you fastening your seatbelt.

This historic small-batch release is now available on draft at the AleSmith Tasting Room, as well as Belmont Park. You can also grab it to go in 16oz 4-packs at their Gift Shop or online ( unfortunately CA shipping only). So you know what to do!
