Summer will soon be giving way to fall and American craft brewers are addressing the season with an intriguing roster of beers you’re gonna want to have around.
Juiced Up (Waitsfield, VT) – Lawson’s Finest Liquids has a new addition to their Sunshine Family that spent years in development and is now available all year-round.
“First, we decided that we needed to add a low ABV hazy to our year round lineup. As a team, we discussed our desired flavors, aromas, and mouthfeel for a Lawson’s Finest hazy beer, said Sean Lawson who founded the brewery along with his wife Karen in 2008. Next (this is the fun part), we conducted research by tasting other hazy beers. This helped us narrow in on the things we wanted in our beer and the things that we did not.
Crafted with a luscious blend of Citra and Mandarina Bavaria and available now throughout the brewery’s nine state reach, Lawson’s Hazy Rays IPA is an approachable 5% ABV India Pale Ale with a tropical medley of tangerine, clementine, and mandarin oranges notes that lay soft on the palate and a touch of sweetness to its finish.
Passionate Brewing (Boulder, CO) – Upslope Brewing has a new fall edition to its Fruited Sour Series that we can’t wait to get our hands on. Described by the brewery as “a taste of the tropics, with a pleasantly tart finish, Upslope Passionfruit Hibiscus Sour Ale is a 4.5% ABV refresher bursting with bright tropical flavors and a tart tinge that lingers.
“Our newest beer in the Fruited Sour Series utilizes a personal favorite fruit that brings a ton of juicy, tropical flavor,” said Head Brewer Alex Meyer. “Passionfruit adds a pleasant tartness that is accompanied by the beautiful color of the hibiscus and just the right amount of sweetness. Passionfruit Hibiscus Sour Ale rounds out the Fruited Sour Series nicely and is a great way to wind down the summer months.”
Brewed In The USA (Calgary, Canada) – With more craft breweries than ever before, brewing serious non-alcoholic beer, ACB has expanded its coverage to include new NA beers that matter. And Big Drop Brewing, a UK headquartered non-alcoholic brewery that also contact brews its beers for the US at the Destihl Brewery in Illinois, matters.
Bursting with a medley of citrus fruit from the moment you pour it to the bitter snap at its finish, Big Drop Paradiso Citra IPA is an award-winning Non-Alcoholic India Pale Ale that delivers layer upon layer of hoppy flavors without muddying your head.
