Spring is just around the corner and American brewers are addressing things with a new roster of  beers that you’re gonna want to have around as the seasons change.

Decadent Doings (Lincoln, NE) – Empyrean Brewing has just released something unusual, a decadent twist on a classic tradition. a luscious new take on the traditional Hefeweizen that blends classic wheat beer smoothness with the indulgent flavors of rich chocolate, Empyrean Coco Hefe is a light-bodied, yet decadently smooth, 5% ABV limited release, with fruity-sweet notes of banana and hints of roasted chocolate and clove spice.

“Our goal with Coco Hefe was to take the classic Hefeweizen and give it an unexpected twist,” said Tim Binderup, Head Brewer at Empyrean Brewing Co.® “The addition of cacao brings out the beer’s natural sweetness while maintaining the easy-drinking, effervescent quality that makes a Hefeweizen so enjoyable.”

March Forward ( Breckenridge, CO) – Although we’ll have to wait till the second Sunday in March to “spring forward,” Breckenridge Brewery has a new beer that isn’t waiting. Brewed to be enjoyed throughout winter’s chill and into the season of renewal.

Spring Forward Grapefruit IPA is a 6.5% ABV India Pale Ale that masterfully balances bold grapefruit and zesty citrus flavors with just the right level of hop-driven bitterness.

“We aimed to craft a beer that feels like a breath of fresh air,” said Carl Heinz, Brewmaster at Breckenridge Brewery. “With its bold, juicy character and the dry hopping of Amarillo, Cascade, and Citra hops,  this IPA offers a refreshing taste that enthusiasts can savor all year long.”

Drink Wit Not Lit (Denver, CO) – Its little surprise that Grüvi, one of the nation’s best producers of non-alcoholic beer, comes from Colorado, a state renowned for its brewing expertise. And they’ve a Witbier that ranks with the best.

Bright and refreshing in flavor with a creamy, full-bodied mouthfeel that’s so convincing, you won’t believe it’s non-alcoholic, Grüvi Weekday Wit is the award-winning  brewery’s take on Belgian-style Wheat Beer and they absolutely nailed it.
