Highland Brewing Collaborates With All-Star Cast (Asheville, NV) – Highland Brewing is crafting a special anniversary beer along with Sierra Nevada and an all-star cast of independent, family-owned hop and malt suppliers including Riverbend Malthouse, Briess Malting, Crosby Hop Farms, Roy Farms and CLS Farms. Brewed with a nuanced blend of Motueka, Zappa, Azacca and Strata, Highland Rustic IPA is a 5.8% ABV 25th Anniversary Ale with a fruity hop character that’s accentuated by a soft, hazy malt bill.
Dark Times (Alexandria, VA) – Over the weekend Port City Brewing returned one of its most popular Lager Series releases. Drawing inspiration from the brown and dark lagers of Mexico and designed with the warmer seasons in mind, Port City Mexican Dark Lager is a draft-only exercise in fine brewing with a rich, nutty mouthfeel and toasted malt flavors.
