Get Dunked (Bucks County, PA) – Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company is an award-winning craft brewery and taproom located just north of Philadelphia. And they’ve a playful new fall seasonal, that takes the pumpkin beer concept in an interesting direction.
Using the brewery’s Dunks Ferry Dunkelweizen as the base, then adding pumpkin puree to the mash and turning things up to eleven, Neshaminy Creek Punkless Dunkel is a MASSIVE 8.8% ABV Dark Wheat Ale with dark brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice notes that pair perfectly with the banana esters and spicy clove notes imparted by the yeast.
Giving In To Temptation (Dallas, TX) – Lakewood Brewing is renowned for its popular “Seduction Series,” a bestselling line of Temptress Imperial Milk Stout variations that are always interesting and delicious. And their latest is stuffed not once, but twice with one of America’s favorite cookies. Brewed with chocolate wafers with creamy white filling that are crushed into a million pieces before being added to the brewing kettle, Lakewood Double Stuffed Temptress is a 9.1% ABV Imperial Milk that’s tempered with lactose sugar and vanilla.
