Mark your calendars now because on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11, 2026, the GABF will trade the Colorado Convention Center for the scenic open-air vistas of Denver’s Levitt Pavilion.

It’s a big shift, and Brewers Association organizers, who sponsor the event every year, say it’s the start of a new era for GABF. They’ll be keeping the world-class beer lineup, but adding live music, wide-open skies, and a more laid-back, immersive festival vibe.

“Great American Beer Festival has always reflected where American craft beer is headed,” said Ann Obenchain, vice president of marketing and communications for the Brewers Association. “Taking the festival outdoors lets us reimagine what’s possible, and we’re excited to bring fresh energy to the event while creating an experience that feels uniquely Colorado.”

Set in Denver’s Ruby Hill neighborhood, Levitt Pavilion is a nonprofit outdoor music venue known for its sweeping green space, skyline views, and built-in amphitheater. The new setting opens the door for expanded live music, open-air tasting areas, and a refreshed take on the festival’s popular PAIRED event.

“Levitt Pavilion is proud to be the new host venue for the Great American Beer Festival and to welcome the festival’s many brewers, partners, and attendees to Ruby Hill Park this fall,” said Meghan McNamara, executive director of Levitt Pavilion Denver. “Our founding purpose is to build community through music and shared experiences, and partnering with the Brewers Association expands that vision for both our organizations.”

While the backdrop is changing, the heart of GABF isn’t going anywhere. Expect hundreds of breweries, thousands of beers, and a coast-to-coast showcase of award-winning craft beverages — just with more room to roam, a little sunshine, and the easygoing social energy that comes with an outdoor festival.

“This isn’t just a venue change for us — it’s an evolution,” Obenchain added. “We’ve listened to our attendees, and we’re creating an outdoor festival that invites people to explore, discover, and celebrate craft beer in a completely new way. It’s about gathering your friends, finding your spot on the lawn, and enjoying great beer and good times together.”

After more than 40 years as a cornerstone of American beer culture, GABF’s move outdoors reflects a craft beer community that continues to adapt, experiment, and look ahead.

Tickets are set to go on sale starting in June 2026.
