Dogfish Head Craft Brewery Goes Big With Bold New Beers For 2025

2025 is ON and Dogfish Head Craft Brewery is all about this year’s big beer releases which once again push the brewing envelope in oft-centered ways…

And for this year’s beer lineup the Milton, Delaware-based brewing powerhouse turned to its fans…..

“We put the call out to our 1.1M social media followers, asking them which of our archived beers they would like to see make a comeback,” said Sam Calagione, Dogfish Head Founder & Brewer….

“The submissions were plentiful, but a couple of old favs rose to the top. I’m excited to share that we’re bringing back not one, not two, but a whole slew of beers from our brewing archives, either in stand- alone packs or as the featured brews in our seasonal variety packs.”

Every Day, Year-Round Beers:

Dogfish Head’s list of year-round beers includes not only its continually hopped classic, but also a hop-forward new addition and a “Blast from the Past.”.

• Citrus Squall (8.0% ABV): The perfect storm of a double golden ale and a paloma cocktail brewed with blue agave nectar, lime peels and grapefruit juice.
• 60 Minute IPA (6.0% ABV): A continually hopped, east coast IPA brewed with a slew of intense Northwest hops to deliver a pungently, citrusy, grassy hop flavor without being crushingly bitter.

• 90 Minute Imperial IPA (9.0% ABV): One of the first continually hopped beers whose powerful malt backbone supports its extreme hopping rate for rich pine and fruity citrus hop aromas, and a pungent, not crushing, hop flavor.

• SeaQuench Ale (4.9% ABV): A session sour mash-up of a crisp Kölsch, a salty Gose and a tart Beliner Weiss brewed in sequence with black limes, sour lime juice and sea salt.
• Slightly Mighty (4.0% ABV): A lo-cal IPA that is slight in calories and carbs with mighty hop character and has just 95 calories, 3.6g carbs, 1g protein and 0g fat per 12oz can.
• Blue Hen Pilsner (4.8% ABV): Crisp and refreshing pilsner is brewed with only four ingredients: water, yeast, earthy Saaz hops, and Delaware-grown and malted barley. *Available in select East Coast markets only *

               NEW – Tropical Squall (9% ABV): An imperial golden ale brewed with mango and pineapple

              THROWBACK – 75 Minute IPA (7.5% ABV) A continually hopped IPA brewed with maple syrup

Spring Beer Releases

• Super Doppio (7.0% ABV): A smooth and crisp Italian-style Imperial pilsner brewed with malted spelt and dry hopped with gusto.

• Spring Variety Pack: A variety 12pk/12oz cans including 60 Minute IPA, Slightly Mighty, Blue Hen Pilsner and a new, variety pack exclusive, Midnight Cascade,  black IPA brewed with notes of dank pine and bright citrus, and just a hint of roasty flavor

Summer Beer Releases

• Festina Pêche (4.5% ABV): A refreshing Neo-Berliner Weisse brewed with truckloads of real peaches, which are added during fermentation, for a tart and subtly sweet sipper perfect for the warm summer weather.
• 120 Minute IPA (15-20% ABV): An unfiltered and abundantly hoppy Imperial IPA continuously hopped with a copious amount of high-alpha American hops throughout the boil and whirlpool, and then dry-hopped with even more hops

Fall Beer Releases

• Punkin Ale (7.0% ABV): A fall-favorite, full-bodied brown ale brewed with real pumpkin meat, brown sugar and spices.
•  Liquid Truth Serum (7.0% ABV): An unfiltered IPA bursting with all kinds of hops – whole leaf, liquefied, pelletized and powdered – for a blissfully inefficient brew that’s truthfully hoppy and chock full of citrusy, tropical flavor notes.
• Fall Variety Pack: A 12pk/12oz can package including 60 Minute IPA, Punkin Ale and two oldies but goodies – Raison D’Etre and Chicory Stout. That’s right … these two beloved Throwback brews are back, but only available in the Fall Variety Pack.
•  Raison D’Etre (8.0% ABV): A Belgian-style brown ale brewed with beet sugar, raisins and a Belgian-style yeast.
•  Chicory Stout (5.2% ABV): A dark beer made with chicory and licorice root.

Winter Beer Releases

• NEW –  Triple Decadence World Wide Stout (15-20% ABV): A new take on Dogfish Head’s World Wide Stout, a rich and roasty Imperial stout brewed with a ridiculous amount of barley, this version is aged in Palo Santo wood tanks, Dogfish Head Let’s Get Lost Whiskey barrels and Samuel Adams Utopias barrels.
• Covered In Nuggs (7.1% ABV): A classically dank and piney IPA judiciously hopped with heaps of Citra, Simcoe, Amarillo and Centennial hops.
• THROWBACK –  Pennsylvania Tuxedo (8.5% ABV): A spruce-infused pale ale with a grassy, citrusy kick that’s complemented by resinous conifer notes.
