BrewDog recently announced plans to bring their special kind of mayhem to London with a new beer festival that could join Beavertown’s Extravaganza and the London Craft Beer Festival as events that serious beer lovers don’t want to miss…
Here’s the deal…
On November 10th Scotland’s BrewDog will be bringing its own brand of beer festival madness to London and UK authorities are scrambling to be prepared.
Understated as ever, BrewDog describes Metro Mayhem as “one awesome beer fueled party that will be off the Richter scale.”
Clearly on an Animal House-like roll, BrewDog goes on to claim that “London will never be the same,” and we expect, if they have their way, it won’t.
Taking place in Copper Box Arena in London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, it’s a 12 hour beerganza (11am-11pm). And in addition to BrewDog’s OverWorks, LoneWolf and Hawkes divisions, they’ve invited some of the best brewers in world to join them.
17 guest breweries will be coming in including players like Wylam Brewery, Siren Craft Brew, Dark Horse Brewing Co, Jolly Pumpkin, 18th Street Brewery, Bearded Iris Brewing, Fat Head’s Brewery, Hill Farmstead Brewery, Arizona Wilderness Brewing Co, Wolf’s Ridge Brewing, Fierce Beer, Buxton Brewery, Verdant Brewing Co, Boxcar Brewery, Neon Raptor Brewing Co, Burnt Mill Brewery, and Dugges Bryggeri.
Only weeks away BrewDog, is promising more updates on beer list, bands, events…And BrewDog tends to keep their promises so stay tuned.
