Few craft breweries think as big as BrewDog and no craft brewing organization in the world has their current scale and reach. And they’ve just opened their 100th global craft beer bar, in a great beer city…Dublin, Ireland.
To understand the intrinsic importance of BrewDog’s UK and international bar network one only has to look to the traditional pub and brewery distribution system in the United Kingdom, where large pub chains serve as outlets for company-sanctioned beer that is served chainwide.
Breweries such Fuller’s have opted to cut out the middleman and build their own network of pubs that cater almost exclusively to their brand…And over the years BrewDog has been building a national and international network of bars with a similar model.

In addition to being BrewDog’s hundredth global operation, BrewDog Dublin is the company’s fourth “outpost” (that’s BrewDog-speak for a brewpub), BrewDog’s bars are just that craft beer bars that serve as outlets for their many core beers a limited releases. BrewDog has one outpost in London, another in Manchester, England, a third in Pittsburgh, PA and now Dublin.
Located in Dublin’s Docklands neighborhood at Capital Dock, where the Grand Canal meets the Rivers Liffey and Dodder, BrewDog Outpost Dublin has opened its doors just in time for the Winter Holidays.
BrewDog Dublin features a 5HL brewpub kit able to craft as many Ireland-only exclusives as they can. BrewDog is all about the freshest beer…and you can’t get much fresher than straight from the tank.
BrewDog’s newest Outpost also features two bars each with 30 taps to showcase the company’s ever-evolving bounty of brews, alongside a range of cutting-edge releases from the amazing beer scene in Ireland, as well as the UK, and from around the world.

There’s also a dedicated Beer School area where you can sniff, sample and taste their favorite brews guided by one of BrewDog’s Certified Cicerone crew members.
And whether the sun shines or not (this is Ireland after all) BrewDog Outpost Dublin is ready with a huge outdoor terrace, heated roof garden and a roaring indoor fire to heighten the warming buzz that comes with fresh beer.
The 180° river views are striking. And they can be enjoyed both inside and out, while listening to music, working in the Wi-Fi DeskDog area, or catching the rays on the roof-top garden.
And BrewDog Dublin is not forgetting that they’ve launched their latest outpost in the city that Guinness calls home…
“We know that we can’t open a bar in the Guinness loving capital without a dark beer on tap. Holding fast in our stand of supporting independence, we’re thrilled to champion craft brewers and distillers across our taps.”
“However, to ensure Dubliners can still get their fix, we’re happy to offer a Jet Black Heart, our Oatmeal Stout, on the house for anyone who visits in December and asks for a Guinness.”
Sláinte!
