BrewGooder and BrewDog hope to bring life-changing clean water to over 10,000 people – and you can help.

Here’s the deal…

BrewGooder is a UK-based beer, that fronts a foundation, which works tirelessly to provide clean drinking water to people in Africa, and in 2016 BrewDog partnered with them to dig wells for communities at need., BrewDog And BrewGooder Champion Clean Water Efforts In Africa

Almost four years ago BrewGooder embarked on a simple mission, to provide clean water for 1,000,000 Africans through the power of craft beer. And along with BrewDog, who brew their Clean Water Lager at zero margin, they’ve announced Project 26 their biggest challenge to date.

Project 26 will seek to fund 26 clean water projects – one per week for the six months – bringing life changing safe water access to a staggering 10,000 people throughout rural Malawi.

And starting in August and running over the next six month every sale of BrewGooder Lager at 30 UK BrewDog Bars will benefit this ambitious effort…

“By buying a pint of BrewGooder Lager, or donating via the QR codes on beer mats and posters found in BrewDog Bars, you will be supporting the quest to widen their reactive repair program that attends to rural communities who have lost clean water access.”

Due to dysfunctional boreholes or damaged water pump, many of those African communities have resorted to drawing water from unsafe sources. These are the people BrewGooder will be aiding through Project 26. And some of BrewDog’s bar crews will be traveling to Malawi next year to help with the effort.

“We set off on a mission to make a great tasting craft lager to a unique recipe, sell the beer and invest 100% of our profits – every single penny – into clean water projects. This means that when you drink our beers you are providing someone who needs it with clean drinking water.”

“Every case that we sell at retail value allows us to provide clean water access for a person in Malawi for over two years.”

Fellow “do-gooders” can purchase BrewGooder beer and gear online but unfortunately delivery at this time is limited to the United Kingdom.
