With the coronavirus pandemic continuing to wreak havoc across the US, these kinds of announcements are fast becoming the new normal…And now Boulevardia one of the nation’s coolest beer-fueled festivals.

Here’s the deal…

In a year that has already seen the cancellation of the Craft Brewers Conference, SAVOR and a multitude of beer related events around the world  due to the global pandemic, Boulevardia’s announcement is but the latest nail in the coffin to any kind of idea that the world will ever return to normal.

Scheduled for June 19 and 20, Boulevardia has evolved over the years from a specifically Boulevard Brewing gathering, to a not-for-profit festival held annually in Kansas, City, MO that celebrates beer, food, music, family activities, entertainment, shopping and eco-education, all in a unique urban setting.

And now like so many landmark events this year, Boulevardia 2020 has been cancelled…

We realize the impact this decision makes on our charity partners, vendors, makers, and patrons. This decision was made with respect to the ever-changing public health situation and with the goal of allowing our community time to focus on their personal health and well-being and in the interest of bringing this festival back in 2021.

We want to thank our partners, vendors, sponsors, staff, volunteers, and community supporters for their commitment to Boulevardia. There is a lot of good happening throughout Kansas City during this difficult time and we are proud to be a part of this special community. There is a reason KC is known as the “Heart of America” and that heartbeat is alive and well.

It’s been said, “the comeback is always stronger than the setback.” We believe that to be true and we believe this festival and our community will come back stronger than ever before. Cheers to you and yours.
